Starting point for the Adapta Valve installation.  Cold water shut off valve and cold water riser or hose. Note clear tubing that is shown in most images is from a previous application and is not in use.

For better access to remove riser or hose you can remove the shutoff handle as shown by simply removing the screw in the center cap. To replace, just align the handle with the valve (prior position before removing handle) and replace the screw to secure.

Adapta valve installed prior to connection to purifier and cold water riser or hose to sink faucet.

Adapta valve plumbed with red hose going to inlet port (outside) of purifier and riser going to existing faucet. Note the blue on/off selector on the adapta valve is in the on, horizontal position for water flow to the purifier. To change the cartridge or isolate the purifier for water flow simply, turn the selector to the off, vertical position.

Always remember to leak check all fittings after water flow to purifier is initiated The unit can be hung on the cabinet interior wall with the provided bracket if desired. Extra tubing was not cut off to facilitate ease of cartridge change and allow the homeowner to move the system under the cabinet.
